Jasmine Sarmiento
Artist and designer Jasmine Sarmiento founded The Sarmiento Collection in 2015, inspired by Colombia’s rich traditions of leatherworking and the geometric artistry of pre-Columbian textiles. Drawing from these influences, she created original handbag designs that blend contemporary elegance with traditional craftsmanship, exceptional materials, and sustainable practices. Today, alongside her signature handbags, the Sarmiento Collection has expanded to offer a collection of handcrafted works by Indigenous and artisan communities across Colombia, celebrating the country’s enduring artistic and cultural heritage.
