Founder

Francesca Escoto is the founder of Tropical Home Fine Art Gallery.

After a dual career in the tech and nonprofit industries, Escoto has developed a mixed media art practice, grounded in sustainability, quality, and celebrating legacy. She was previously Co-Founder and Chief Operations Officer of the Allapattah Collaborative Community Development Corporation in Miami, where she worked on culture-led economic development, small business incubation, and neighborhood stewardship in a historically significant district undergoing rapid redevelopment.

Francesca has been a resident of Tampa for nearly 20 years and brings her community development experience home through Tropical Home.

She currently serves as a National Board Director for the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE), where she champions marketing, entrepreneurship, and economic opportunity at a national level.

Ybor City is not a backdrop — it is a living neighborhood shaped by immigrant labor, mutual aid, resistance, and culture.

Tropical Home chose Ybor intentionally:
