JERRY RODRIGUEZ
Jerry Rodriguez is a multidisciplinary visual artist whose work centers on textured immigrant portraits that explore identity, resilience, and cultural memory. Using layered palette-knife strokes and intentionally abstracted faces, his paintings honor Latino and immigrant narratives while leaving space for viewers to project their own stories. His use of color, movement, and texture reflects both emotional depth and lived experience, celebrating strength, labor, and quiet pride.
Jerry’s artistic background spans painting, sculpture, and mixed-media practices, evolving from traditional portraiture into contemporary works rooted in storytelling. His art has been exhibited internationally and showcased at venues including Art Basel and the Dali Museum, with pieces collected by celebrities and private collectors. In addition to gallery work, Jerry has performed live painting for large audiences and mentored emerging artists. He believes art has the power to connect people across cultures and create meaningful change, and his mission is to create work that resonates beyond the canvas.
