I was born on the Island of Curacao( Dutch territory) and moved with my family to the country of Suriname ( also Dutch territory then) when I was 14.

Growing up I was always into working with my hands , so I’ve done a lot of sewing, macrame and then became a hairdresser when I moved the the USA in 1981.

In the meantime I took basic classes to learn how to make jewelry from beads.  I became quite creative after taking many classes and what I’m showing you in the Gallery is some of my work that I do now.
