There are event spaces, and then there are places with a soul. Tropical Home is the latter. Set inside a beautifully preserved historic building in the heart of Ybor City, our gallery pairs exposed brick, soaring open space, and rotating original art with a location surrounded by the neighborhood's best bars, restaurants, and century-old character. It's a backdrop no ballroom or banquet hall can replicate — because it isn't staged. It's real.

Whether you're planning an intimate gathering or a 200-person celebration, we have a space built for it:

  • Casita Corner — a cozy, character-filled nook perfect for small dinners, book clubs, tastings, or intimate acoustic sets.
  • The Workshop Space — hands-on and flexible, ideal for classes, team-building sessions, product launches, or creative workshops.
  • The Lobby — a striking first impression for registration, welcome receptions, or gallery-adjacent mingling.
  • Front of House — our most gallery-forward space, surrounded by curated art, perfect for showcases, pop-ups, and press events.
  • The Whole Gallery — completely open, endlessly configurable, and ready to become whatever your vision requires, for up to 200 guests.

Because our architecture is open-plan, every space can be reconfigured, combined, or transformed — cocktail-style, seated, theater, or fully custom. You're not renting a room. You're renting a canvas.

  • Complimentary Space Upgrade — book the Workshop Space or Casita Corner and receive complimentary access to the Lobby for guest arrival and flow, at no added cost.
  • A Gallery That Gives Back — a portion of every event held at Tropical Home supports Paint 22, our social enterprise dedicated to art therapy and career growth for Veteran artists. Your event isn't just beautiful — it's meaningful.
  • Curated Ambiance, Included — our current exhibition stays on the walls during your event (unless you request otherwise), so your guests experience original, tropical-inspired art as part of the atmosphere, at no additional styling cost.
